Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A few things clients often ask before booking their first appointment.

Is PrideSeal Legacy Solutions LLC a law firm?

No. We are a North Carolina commissioned notary and document services specialist, not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or represent clients in legal matters. We help you complete and notarize your healthcare directive, power of attorney, or estate planning forms — for guidance on which documents are right for your situation, we recommend consulting a licensed North Carolina attorney.

What's the difference between a healthcare directive and a power of attorney?

A healthcare directive (living will) states your wishes for medical treatment if you're unable to communicate them yourself. A power of attorney authorizes someone you trust to make financial or legal decisions on your behalf. Many clients complete both at the same time as part of their overall planning.

Do you really travel to homes and hospitals?

Yes. Mobile appointments are available throughout Wake, Durham, Johnston and surrounding counties, including hospital bedside visits for urgent healthcare directives and time-sensitive documents.

How much does an appointment cost?

Pricing depends on the service and travel distance. Contact us with your document type and location and we'll give you a clear quote before booking — no surprises.

What should I bring to my appointment?

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID and your unsigned document(s). Do not sign in advance — documents must be signed in the notary's presence. If your document requires witnesses, let us know ahead of time so we can help coordinate.

Can you meet before 8 AM, after 8 PM, or on Sunday?

Yes. Our standard hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but early morning, late evening, Sunday, and emergency appointments — including hospital bedside visits — are available by request. Text or email us and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
